he Cottage is one of 4 rentals offered by Green Pastures Getaways. Tucked away on our private 32-acre property just 5 minutes from I-65, this cozy guest cottage sleeps up to 3 and offers beautiful views of the surrounding pastures, pond and countryside.

Inside, you'll find an inviting open floor plan with a king bed, twin daybed, full kitchen, dining area and full bath. The Cottage is filled with original art, antiques and unique touches that give it plenty of character while still providing everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Outside is where Green Pastures really comes to life. Relax on the porch or patio, enjoy the pool, take a walk around the property, fish in the pond, gather around the fire pit, or simply find a quiet spot to enjoy the view. Our flock of Katahdin sheep grazes throughout the property, and deer, turkeys, birds and other wildlife are frequent visitors.

The Cottage is especially well suited for couples looking for a peaceful getaway, but the additional twin daybed provides comfortable sleeping space for a third guest.

Green Pastures feels wonderfully secluded, yet we're convenient to Montevallo, Calera and Alabaster and approximately 35 minutes from downtown Birmingham.

Traveling with a larger group? The Shepherd's Retreat and The Studio at Green Pastures are also located on the same 32-acre property and can be combined with The Cottage to accommodate additional guests. Just ask us about the options.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
